Everybody's a comedian

You Should Be a Joke Writer

You're totally hilarious, and you can find the humor in any situation.
Whether you're spouting off zingers, comebacks, or jokes about life...
You usually can keep a crowd laughing, and you have plenty of material.
You have the makings of a great comedian - or comedic writer.

She has a famous quote about getting her best ideas looking out the window while washing dishes. {paraphrasing of course} How about you, GrizzBabe}, what's your secret?

I would sign my anononamous, too, but I can't spell it.

I get ideas while doing any mindless activity -- loading the dishwasher (I don't do dishes), driving, staring out the window at work, etc.

There's another interesting quote - unfortunate I don't have these at hand to provide attribution - about a writer's wife having difficulty understanding how he is working while staring out the window.

I've noticed there seem to be frequent window references in this exchange. Perhaps that's why I have my desk positioned so I can lean back and times and watch the world go by...
